By placing an order, you agree to the following terms:

1. Rental Period
The rental period begins on the agreed delivery date and ends on the specified return date. All items must be returned on time using the approved return method.

2. Delivery to You
Delivery to you is included in the rental fee. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm.  Your leotard(s) will arrive in a Scarlet & Rose garment bag, which must also be returned.

3. Returning to Us
A return parcel bag will be provided for your convenience.
Returns must be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm with compensation cover up to £1,000.

You may:

• Arrange this yourself, or

• Add a return label to your order (emailed prior to your return date)

It is your responsibility to ensure the parcel is posted before the relevant Royal Mail cut-off time and that proof of postage is retained.  Customers remain responsible for the leotard until it has been safely received back by Scarlet & Rose

4. Care & Responsibility
You are responsible for the garment during the rental period and agree to handle it with care, using it only for its intended purpose.  Please avoid excessive fake tan, body makeup, or oils that may stain the garment.

5. Damage Waiver & Fair Use
We want renting to feel easy and worry-free. Minor wear and tear is expected and fully covered as part of your rental.

This includes:

• Light fabric wear or small pulls

• Minor marks consistent with performance use

If damage goes beyond normal wear, the following fair-use structure applies:

• Minor repair (under £50): No charge

• Moderate repairs (£50–£150): Charged based on the reasonable repair cost, assessed case by case

• Severe damage or total loss: Charged up to a maximum of £550 per garment

Charges may apply where damage includes:

• Significant tears, heavy staining, or damage affecting performance or appearance 

• Excessive missing or damaged crystals

• Damage caused by misuse or failure to follow care instructions

We will always aim to be fair and transparent when assessing any charges.

6. Loss or Non-Return
Failure to return the garment may result in a charge of up to £550 per garment.

6. Sizing
Customers are responsible for reviewing sizing information before booking.

7. Late Returns
Leotards must be received by the Tuesday following the rental weekend and should therefore be posted before the final Royal Mail collection on Monday.  Many leotards are reserved for other gymnasts on consecutive weekends, timely returns are essential.
Late returns will incur a charge of £30 per leotard, per day.

8. Cleaning
Please do not wash, dry clean, repair, or alter the garment.. All items are professionally cleaned between rentals.

9. Fit & Alterations
Garments must not be altered in any way. Unauthorised alterations will be treated as damage.  

10. Cancellations
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Liability
Scarlet & Rose accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred while wearing or using the garment.
